Nginx (Engine-X)

Nginx is an advanced HTTP server and mail proxy server. Nginx is a highly scalable

platform for delivering HTTP and HTTPS content.

 

Carbon Mountain uses the Nginx project in a number of solutions for both the KaOS™ and vKaOS™ platforms. Nginx enables the KaOS™ hypervisor platform to perform content acceleration, advanced reverse proxying, global server load balancing, and SSL off-load. Carbon Mountain currently only uses the advanced HTTP capabilities of nginx.  

Nginx is a core component in KaOS™ and vKaOS™.
