Linux kernel offers a state of the art operating system kernel that is highly configurable and
supports a wide range of computer hardware platforms. The Linux kernel was created by Linus Torvalds, and
has had many developers from around the world contributing to it. The Linux kernel was first developed in
1991 and is widely used in computer devices from mobile devices, wireless access points to servers and embedded
network devices. Linux powers devices from a wide variety of companies including IBM, Cisco, Nortel, F5 Networks,
Aruba Networks and many more.
Linux is a core component in KaOS and vKaOS.
