Carbon Mountain provides a full-featured chroot environment for developers and end-users to customize KaOS and build virtual appliance modules for vKaOS. At a very basic level the KaOS SDK can be used to tweak the kernel configuration, add or remove driver support and then rebuild a custom KaOS build to match your hardware perfectly.  

The SDK can be used to create new system images for KaOS, to enhance the KaOS hypervisor platform or build appliance modules for the vKaOS platform. The SDK is simple to use, has no complex packaging system syntax to learn. Anyone familiar with standard Open Source build tools such as make and configure will be able to create images instantly.
