with extensive experience in pioneering networking companies such as
Alteon WebSystems, Aruba Networks, Tropos Networks, SynOptics Communications,
Network Computing Devices and Bridge Communications, as well as open source
leaders including Spliced Networks, Mandriva and o3 Magazine.
John Buswell, Founder and CEO
John possesses more than 15 years of experience in developing scalable, secure and high performance enterprise data networking solutions,
having held key technical positions for industry leaders such as Nortel Networks, Aruba Networks, Alteon WebSystems, OneNet Communications and
Systemhouse Technology. He has also attained deep expertise in Linux and other open source technologies from his years at Spliced Networks,
where he was the founder and CEO, and Mandriva. John graduated from the University of Limerick with a B.Technology in Information Technology and
Telecommunications.
Chris Riggins, Vice President of Engineering
Chris comes to Carbon Mountain after more than a decade of software engineering management experience at Cisco Systems. Prior to Cisco, Chris held software engineering management positions at Amdahl and OpenVision. He holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and has been awarded three patents.
Craig Lunt, Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Craig has more than three decades of technical sales and business development experience establishing new territories, markets, customers and partners for networking industry pioneers such as
Zeus Technologies, Array Networks, Trapeze Networks, Aruba Networks, Alteon WebSystems, Network Computing Devices, Vitalink, Bridge Communications
and Develcon.
Bert Williams, Vice President of Marketing
Possessing more than 20 years of high-tech work experience, Bert previously worked as a marketing executive at Proxim Wireless Corporation,
Tropos Networks, Alteon WebSystems, Bay Networks, Synernetics and Advanced Micro Devices. He holds a BS with University Honors in
Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
